Well to start, I have been creating computer graphics since I was 10. Starting with SuperPaint on the Macintosh. And I have been building websites since I was 15. Designing on computers has always been something I’ve loved to do. I grew up being very artistic, and very interested in technology. The two interests have merged together into who I am today.
My formal education has been in computer science and in digital animation. It was through this education that I learned the foundations of programming, 3D modeling and motion graphics. Much of my other knowledge has been learned through mentors, self trainings, and hands on experience.
It’s safe to say I love to learn. And I do it quickly. I can typically pick up a new skill and run with it in no time. It’s always fun balancing on that bleeding edge of the new and cool technologies. I’m always happy to bring new ideas to the table and work well alone or in a team type environment. And through my various experiences, I am at home working on a Mac or PC. Though I do prefer Apple computing!

I like to work hard and play hard too! In my free time, I enjoy movies, spending time with friends, being creative in every way possible, and seeing as much of this incredible world as I can. I occasionally indulge in video games (love my Nintendo Wii). I also very much enjoy spending time outdoors and at the beach.
I’m also a huge sports fan. My favorite sport is hockey, and I love the Chicago Blackhawks dearly. I even play goalie for a rec leauge ice hockey team (Yes, that’s me to the left!). And I’m a fan of the Chicago Cubbies and the Bears. Win or loose, I’m a Chicago gal through and through.
